Do you like late 70's - early 80's influenced hardcore? Are some of your favorite bands Black Flag, Bad Brains, and Minor Threat? If so, you NEED to listen to this band. Out Crowd is a new band out of Atlanta that just recently released a demo cassette through Ghetto Josh Records.
From the first few notes played in the intro, you know this is going to be a time warp back to the early 80's. Drop the heavy riffs, overly done mosh parts, and 'bro' attitude most bands have today; Out Crowd is a straight forward hardcore punk band. This band takes major influence from pioneers of the genre without feeling like a rip off. They're fast, they're angry, and they have something to say.
With all the look-alikes in hardcore nowadays, Out Crowd is a very much appreciated breath of fresh air. They're majorly influence by the greats, but still keep their own sound intact.
